This Greenslopes bathroom renovation transformed the original bathroom of a 1980 brick veneer home into a warm, contemporary space, while retaining some of the Queensland maple features that gave the home its character.
Our client was keen to preserve the beautiful Queensland Maple featured throughout the bathroom and home. The dressed feature beam was retained while the original Queensland maple architraves and custom towel rails were carefully removed and reassembled within the new space.
Warm ‘Bedford Beige’ tiles from National Tiles provide an earthy backdrop, paired with a custom wall-hung vanity. An Omvivo Villa above-counter basin forms an elegant centrepiece, complemented by brushed-nickel towel rails and tapware from Reece’s Mizu Soothe range, custom frameless shower glass and a made-to-measure mirror.
The renovation also involved professional asbestos removal and careful integration of the retained original features. The result is a considered Greenslopes bathroom renovation that feels distinctly new, while keeping a connection to the materials and character of the original.
