**Vision**

You're getting a new bathroom! What do you want it to look like? Do you need a bathtub, more storage, or better lighting? Browse reputable bathroom suppliers and builders can give you some idea of the latests designs, materials and trends.

**Budget**

Get detailed quotes from different companies to understand the actual cost of your renovation. This step is crucial for keeping your project within budget. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples! Check the companies quoting are appropriately licensed and are quoting similar materials and fittings. All building work in Queensland over $3300 must be insured before the work starts!

**Plan**

This is where an experienced builder shines. They should be able to plan out the steps from your initial deposit, to signed contract, isolationis, demolition, deliveries and all the trades required for the whole job. Its not unreasonable to expect a clear handover date for your new bathroom!

With everything planned, it's time to start building. Make sure you have a contract in place with a clear start and end date, that specifies everything you are paying for.
